How 1950s of me...

"What am I up to when I am not cooking?"
I'm making clothes to cook in.
(Oh how I need to get out of the kitchen.)

Inspiration: I like cooking in frilly dresses with big gaudy jewelery.
And let's face it, spilling cake batter on a prom dress, just won't do.

"How did following my first pattern to create an apron go?"
Well, you should join me for a Christmas Carol...

On the twelfth day of April my true love gave to me...

12 bobbin jams,
11 seams sewn,
10 notches cut,
9 pattern pieces,
8 yards of bias tape,
7 days of sewing,

6 iron burns,
5 pin stab-ings!!!
4 pattern choices,
3 alterations,
2 yards of fabric,
and a fif-tea-ease style A-pron!!!!

Please excuse my model;
he's new at this.

So neither of us is ANTM material, but whatev...
(Most models don't eat so many cupcakes.)

Thanks for stoppping by.
If you would like an apron of your own, you may or may not have to hit me up.
And I may or may not be able to help you out.

Sincerely,
Cupcakes & Kisses
Paula Marie
