The leaves are changing colors.
Kids are frolicking through patches of pumpkins.
And fresh apple cider is being downed by the gallon.
It's wedding season!
...wedding season!?
(I know it's blurry; it's because I am frolicking!)
But did you see that pumpkin?! It's a 42 pound pumpkin!
(The round orange pumpkin, not my term of endearment pumpkin.)
Supposedly, June is "wedding season".
However, I'll have you know, that this fall has been back-to-back weddings.
Craziness I tell you, craziness!
I was so excited to be a part of the wedding featured in this post!
The bride is actually a regular customer at the bakery I
work at; however, the bakery I work at does not do wedding cakes. So when she stopped in to ask about cakes my co-worker sent her my way, and we hit it off and were able to come up with a neat idea.
After talking, we decided on the top tier for her and her husband-to-be and cupcakes for the guests.

(Shocker!? I know. But seriously, it really is convenient, efficient, pretty, trendy, makes a statement...
And watch me, I could go on and on!)
So the cupcakes to be?
A fairly simple combination...
Marble with Vanilla Buttercream
Marble with Chocolate Buttercream
Golden Vanilla with Vanilla Buttercream
Choco-latte Cupcakes
(You should all know this one by now!
First one to comment and properly identify what my Choco-Latte Cupcake is wins half a dozen of them!)
((Boyfriend and family not allowed!))
And lastly, but certainly not least!
Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting
(The recipes tested for the carrot cake for this wedding were the first bites of carrot cake I have ever tried, and get this: The recipe I picked as my favorite to use for the wedding, well, I don't even know if that is what carrot cake is supposed to taste like, but it was awesome!)
The wedding had an Autumnal theme;
so everything was in colors of gold, brick red,
terra-cotta, and chocolate brown!
I am really happy with the results!
And I hope you all are too!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Cupcakes & Kisses,
Paula-Marie
And do not forget to comment and define my "Choco-Latte Cupcake"!

ReplyDeleteCassie
